Lor0 Piana Wool stretch suiting - loden

From deadstock of the famous designer, this is an exquisite quality medium weight suiting that looks and feels like a dream! It is 98% wool and 2% elastic, with substance but very malleable and with lovely body in the drape. Though it is a woven, this fabric behaves very much like a ponte knit, making it a great option for both tailored and drapey garments. It has about 20% stretch in the width and is stable in the length with spectacular recovery. The woodsy loden color easily coordinates with blacks, blues and browns as a versatile wardrobe basic. Sew designer quality dresses, jackets, suits and pants, skirts, etc. Hand wash or machine wash gentle cycle in warm water, do not wring and lay flat or hang to dry. Iron on medium (test a small area first).
